Korea Explorer 8 Days
Day 1 (Sunday) – Australia to Seoul
Fly with Singapore Airlines from Australia to Seoul. On arrival at the airport you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Seoul – Jeju
Your driver will collect you for a transfer to the airport for an early morning flight to Jeju on an island off the southern coast. (Flight KE1203 07:20/08:25)
Upon arrival go to Gate 5 to meet your guide at 09:15 for a full day tour of Jeju (Seat-in-coach). Visit Hallim Park to see the variety of gardens and flowering plants, take in the ocean scenery on a walk at Suwolbong Peak, see the amazing bonsai at Spirited Garden, visit Mt Sanbangsan and the Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls or Teddy Bear Museum. Tour concludes at 18:00.
Stay one night in Jeju. (L)
Day 3 – Jeju – Busan
(Seat-in-coach) At 09:00 you will be picked up from your hotel to join another full day tour of Jeju. Visit the Trick Art Museum and Seongeup Folk Village. See female divers, or haenyeo, working in the sea and visit the Haenyeo Museum. Visit Seongsan Sunrise Peak and Manjanggul Cave.
The tour concludes at Jeju airport at 18:00 for a flight to Busan, Korea’s principal port. (Flight KE1012 20:00/20:55). Meet your driver for a private vehicle transfer to your hotel.
Stay one night in Busan. (B,L)
Day 4 – Busan – Gyeongju
(Private tour) Your driver/guide will collect you from the hotel for a half day tour of Busan. Visit Haeundae Beach, Nurimaru APEC House, Busan Tower and the thriving fish market. Travel on to Gyeongju for an overnight stay.
Stay one night in Gyeongju. (B,L)
Day 5 – Gyeongju – Seoul
(Private tour) Your driver/guide will collect you for a tour of historic Gyeongju, the so called “Museum without Walls”. Visit Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, Gyeongju National Museum and Tumuli Park. Return to Seoul by KTX train on your own.
Stay two nights in Seoul. (B,L)
Day 6 – Seoul
(Seat-in-coach) See the city sights on a full day tour. Drive by the Presidential residence known as the Blue House, see the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace, visit Gyeongbok Palace, the National Folk Museum, Jogyesa Temple, Korean Folk Village and for shopping visit an Amethyst or Ginseng Shop. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. (B,L)
Day 7 – Depart Seoul
At leisure until private transfer to the airport for the flight home. (B)
