    Stay two nights in Manila.

Day 2 – Tagaytay Ridge excursion & Manila city tour
Take an excursion today to Tagaytay, about an hour and half’s drive south of Manila. The Tagatay Ridge offers panoramic views over Taal Lake and volcano, the natural wonder of a lake within a volcano. Visit the People’s Park in the Sky to savour the vista. The excursion passes through countryside lined with orchards, fruit stalls and coconut plantations. Visit a jeepney assembly plant and see the Bamboo Organ in Las Piñas.

In the afternoon, visit the bustling financial district of the City of Makati. Visit Forbes Park, dubbed as “Millionaire’s Row”, before proceeding to the American War Memorial. Travel down Roxas Boulevard past Rizal Park to Intramuros, “The Walled City”, to see ancient walls, church ruins and relics from Spain’s Conquistadores. Travel through cobbled streets to San Agustin Church, the oldest stone church in the country. Visit Manila Cathedral and Fort Santiago, a Spanish fort that watched over the entrance to Pasig River. Dinner is at a Filipino restaurant with a Cultural Show. (B,L,D)

    Day 3 – Manila – Banaue
Travel by road to Banaue, a journey of approx. 8 hours, stopping along the way to see village handicrafts and former WW11 battlefields. Arrive Banaue late in the afternoon.

Stay three nights in Banaue. (B)

    Day 6 – Banaue – Baguio
Travel to Baguio via the Halsema Highway. Baguio is the gateway to the mighty Cordillera Mountain Range. See St Williams Cathedral and travel along the coastal road through Suba, home to scenic Paoay Lake and the Malacanang Palace, the opulent former residence of the Marcos Family. In Batac City visit the Marcos Museum and Mausoleum which houses the embalmed body of the late President Ferdinand Marcos. Transfer to Laoag airport for the afternoon flight to Manila. On arrival in Manila you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.
