• Itinerary

  Day 1 – Arrive Kuching
  You will be met on arrival at Kuching airport and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel.  Stay four nights in Kuching.
  Day 2 – Kuching
  Explore Sarawak’s historic capital on a city tour. See Chinatown, the Civic Centre and tour the novel Cat Museum. View the heritage buildings of the White Rajah era, the golden-domed City Mosque and pass through Old Kuching, crammed with spice dealers and textile shops. In the late afternoon a cruise on Sarawak River provides an insight to the riverine life of Kuching. (B)
  Day 3 – Semenggok Wildlife Centre
  Depart for Semenggok Wildlife Centre, a forest sanctuary for orphaned or rescued orang utans being rehabilitated to survive in the wild. Optional walks can be taken on some of the trails in the nature reserve. (B)
  Day 4 – Bako National Park
  Travel by road and motorized longboat to Bako National Park, passing nipah palms and coconut plantations. Bako features a variety of coastal landscapes, steep cliffs, a thriving mangrove swamp and abundant flora and fauna. Proboscis monkeys, long tailed macaques, wild boars, sambar deer and monitor lizards can be found here. Sixteen well sign-posted walking paths can be followed without difficulty. Tour not available Oct-Feb due to adverse weather conditions. (B,L)
  Day 5 – Depart Kuching
  At leisure until a private vehicle transfer to the airport for exit flight. (B)
