    Thu 16 Apr – Depart Australia
    Depart Australia this evening on your Emirates Airlines flight via Dubai to Athens.
    Fri 17 Apr – Arrive Athens
    Arrive Athens this afternoon and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. Remainder of the day at leisure.
    Sat 18 Apr – Embark in Athens
    Transfer to the historic Port of Pireaus to board Azamara Journey. Today’s cabin allocation is followed by a stylish
    evening cocktail function. D
    Sun 19 Apr – Ephesus
    Once a formidable Athenian ally, Ephesus was also a great cultural centre. Walk its 2,000 year old streets, visit the Celsus library and take a seat in the remarkably intact amphitheatre. B,L,D

    Cruise the Aegean Sea’s pristine sapphire waters en-route to Lemnos. ANZAC troops began their Gallipoli journey from

    Tue 21 Apr – Gallipoli
    From midnight, a minute-by-minute re-enactment of the ANZAC soldiers voyage from Lemnos to Gallipoli. Visit the
    evocative battlefield destinations Anzac Cove, Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair. B,L,D
    Wed 22 Apr – Gallipoli
    An immersive battlefield pilgrimage continues with theTurkish narrative and visits to British and French areas at Gallipoli. By the end of today the fabric of a complete story will have been woven. B,L,D
    Thu 23 Apr – Canakkale
    Embrace a joyous haze of dance and music as VIP guests at the spectacular Children’s Day festivities in Canakkale. An afternoon visit to Canakkale Military Museum includes the site where HMAS Queen Elizabeth’s 15” shell landed without exploding. B,L,D
    Fri 24 Apr – Troy
    Indulge a passion for culture in the nearby ruins of Troy, and uncover secret links between Priam’s celebrated kingdom and Gallipoli. A relaxed afternoon ahead of Anzac Day.

    Sat 25 Apr – Anzac Day 2015
    Pay your respects as a lone bugle sounds and the shadows of 100 years loom against the breaking dawn sun. Anchored off Anzac Cove, passengers remaining aboard may take part in a dignified Dawn Service and live broadcast of proceedings ashore. Ballot ticket holders will be transferred to and from the vessel to attend official commemorations. Lay a floating wreath where Australia’s AE2 Submarine lies in the Sea of Marmara’s hidden depths en route to Istanbul this afternoon. B,L,D
    Sun 26 Apr – Istanbul
    Achieve the ANZAC’s goal to conquer Istanbul. Explore the old city’s charming winding lanes and dramatic monuments, including World Heritage listed Hagia Sophia, the mesmerising Blue Mosque and lavish Topkapi Palace. An elegant black tie ball concludes the cruise. B,L,D
    Mon 27 Apr – Istanbul – Ankara
    Disembark from the cruise and depart for a tour of Turkey, beginning with the capital city of Ankara. Stay two nights in Ankara. B,D
    Tue 28 Apr – Ankara
    Visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, a historic caravanserai holding artifacts from up to 7500 years old including the most extensive and valuable collection of Hittite artifacts in the world. Visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the father of modern Turkey. B,D
    Wed 29 Apr – Ankara – Hattusas – Cappadocia
    Leave Ankara for Hattusas, the ancient capital of the Hittites, approx. drive time is 3 hours. We will have lunch en route and visit this 3000 year old site. Our drive will continue to Cappadocia, approx. another 4 hour drive. Whirling Dervishes Ceremony in a 12th century caravanserai. A boutique cave hotel is your base for the next three nights. B,L,D
    Thu 30 Apr – Cappadocia
    Cappadocia touring today including Devrent Valley, Monks’ Valley, Avanos Town for pottery making and a lecture on Turkish Rugs, and the Goreme Open Air Museum. The lunar like landscape of this region is eerie, yet beautiful. Over thousands of years, the rain has eroded the landscape to give rise to strange rock formations known as ‘Fairy Chimneys’. Many of these have homes and churches carved into them and some of the grottos are magnificently decorated with colourful frescoes depicting biblical scenes. (Optional hot air ballooning – a must do activity in Cappadocia) B,L,D
    Fri 01 May – Cappadocia
    Visiting the Derinkuyu Underground City, Uchisar Castle, Pigeon Valley, and Mustafapasa. Free afternoon in Urgup Town until dinner at a special restaurant with magical views. B,L,D
    Sat 02 May – Cappadocia – Konya – Antalya
    Leave Cappadocia early am, a big day ahead on the road to Antalya. Visiting Sultanhan Caravanserai, Konya Mevlana Museum and arrive Antalya. Our 9 hour drive will be broken into short breaks before reaching Antalya. Dinner at your hotel and stay two nights in Antalya. B,D
    Sun 03 May – Antalya
    Free Day Antalya is a one of Turkey’s most vibrant cities where one can find many attractions, galleries or activities to do. Today is a free day to enjoy this magnificent city on your own. Dinner at hotel. B,D
    Mon 04 May – Antalya – Sagalassos – Pamukkale
    In the morning, admire the unreal landscape at the ‘Cotton Castle’ of Pamukkale with its white terraces of limestone deposited by thermal waters through the ages. See the ancient spa, Hierapolis, still used today. Discover the necropolis, one of the largest cemeteries from antiquity to the present. After lunch, drive to Aphrodisias, the ancient site dedicated to the goddess of beauty, love, and fertility. Appreciate Anatolia’s best-preserved stadium. At this site which drew artisans to its school of sculpture, enjoy the Temple of Aphrodite, the Tetrapylon, and the Theatre. We will transfer to Denizli Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. B

    Day at leisure before a late afternoon transfer to the Istanbul Airport for flights home. B

    • of $50 per change. Should you need to cancel a booking,

    • The following cancellation fees will apply:
    • Before 30 May, 2014 – Deposit.
    • Between 01 June and 30 August, 2014 – Deposit of $2500
    • and first instalment of $6200
    • After 30 August, 2014 – 100% of all monies paid.
